Brynn faces

In honor of her birthday, I thought I would do another post with the many faces that Brynn has.

This is Brynn's classic face!  It makes us laugh every single time

Happy Birthday Brynn!

Today is Brynn's first birthday!  Since John was going to be gone on her birthday, we celebrated it on Sunday.  We invited a few family members over and had dinner, cake, and ice cream.  It was a lot of fun, and Brynn got spoiled!

 I opted for a simple cake!  I didn't get
a picture before the frosting started sliding :(

 Here's Brynns smash cake
We did presents first, right when Brynn woke up from a nap.
She really wasn't too interested in opening them herself.
Dad basically opened them.  She was more interested
in all the attention she was getting!

She got lots of super cute clothes!

And a new ride on toy that she LOVES!

Ashlyn showing us that she can wear Brynn's new coat.
I can't believe she got it zipped up!
Isn't this jean outfit too cute?!?!
She knows how cute she is too...

When we gave Brynn her cake, she was very hesitant.  She would just stick her finger in the icing and then lick it.  She did that for about 10 minutes.  Then I gave her a spoon, and she started digging in!

 Still loving the attention!
She is such a ham!

Grandma & Grandpa Dutson with the birthday girl!
 Bath time!

Happy Birthday Miss Brynn!

Brynn is our most active child yet.  She loves attention!  She is constantly moving and never has time to snuggle.  I feel like she is either very happy or very upset, and there's not much in between.  She has been a hard baby for her mom, I'm not going to lie.  It was a big relief for her to start crawling, because she could entertain herself more.  Now I am excited for her to start walking!  We get so many comments on how she looks like a cabbage patch doll!  We do think she's pretty cute!  At least when she's not crying...

Brynn loves her siblings, making noise (especially at church), any phone she can get her hands on, dogs, cats, playing with the cupboards, books, riding in the stroller, making funny faces, and playing the piano.

Brynn can wave, clap her hands, stand up unassisted (from a squating position), balance while standing, give you a high five (sometimes), and make anyone smile.  So far she has taken 3 steps by herself.  She also takes after her mom and needs a lot of sleep.  She typically will sleep 12 hours a night!  It's a major blessing with this child!!!

We are happy to have Brynn in our family!  We are also excited to see her personality starting to show, and she has a lot of it!  We love you Brynn!
